Mrs. Amy Prondzinski

I love being a member of the Second and Third grade team at Grewenow Elementary! The 2017-18 school year will be my fourth here at Grewenow. I have been teaching with Kenosha Unified School District for 15 years in various buildings, levels, and capacities. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in geography from the University of Wisconsin – Parkside and a Wisconsin Teaching Certificate for grades one through nine.

I am looking forward to spending my days with your child. All of us in Room 208 will become a family unit here at Grewenow. We will laugh, learn, and grow together. We are human, not perfect. We will use our mistakes as stepping stones to success. We will persevere. We will embrace our successes. I want your child to love coming into our classroom each day feeling important, strong, and valued.

A few personal tidbits about myself… David and I have been married for 26 years. We have three daughters. Hannah is a sophomore at Winona State, Olivia is a junior at Indian Trail, and Sophia is in seventh grade at Bullen. I enjoy reading, reading, and reading some more and spending time at our home on North Twin Lake in Phelps, Wisconsin. Please know, my experiences as a parent greatly affect my teaching. I always question, “Is this what I would want for my own child?” or “Is this information I would want as a parent?”
