Before finishing my Master’s I worked as an Educational Support Professional for four years within KUSD. I also subbed within the district for two years at various levels. For the past four years I was a four year kindergarten teacher in an inclusion room in Racine Unified.
I received a Bachelor’s of Science in Early Childhood/ Psychology from Northern Michigan University. I received my Master’s in Science in Education from Cardinal Stritch.
I love teaching and working with children at this level because I am able to get them excited about learning and coming to school at a young age in hopes that it will continue for years to come. I love working with families to ensure students receive the most they can from their school experience.
I live in Kenosha with my husband. We have a daughter who is 4 and a son who is 5 months. We also have three dogs. This is my fifth year teaching 4k.
