Welcome to Grewenow Elementary School
I am Sue Valeri and I'm in my sixth year as principal of Grewenow Elementary. Grewenow Elementary is my alma mater; I went here as a student when it was called Sunnyside Elementary. I am happy to be here and look forward to an exciting year.
Grewenow has a very qualified, energetic, and enthusiastic staff. They work very hard and are willing to do what it takes to help children succeed. Grewenow also has a very active PTA that is led by our President, Tracy Griffin. They meet every month on the first Monday. I urge all of our parents to get involved.
The population at Grewenow is looking to be close to 385 students for this coming school year. We have 3 and 4 year olds in our Early Childhood Program and we go through Fifth Grade. We are considered a neighborhood school and many of our students walk to school.
