My name is Miss Sydney Spracklin, and I am a special education teacher for the kindergarten and 1st grade classrooms. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh in May as a Dual Education major. I am licensed to teach Special Education (birth-3rd grade) and Elementary Education (birth-5th grade). Throughout my teaching experiences at Oshkosh, I had the opportunity to work in many different school settings from Early Childhood classrooms up to 5th grade. I am excited to begin my own teaching journey this time around and even more excited that my journey begins at Grewenow Elementary.
I am most excited to meet everyone who is a part of the Grewenow community and work with the wonderful staff at Grewenow. I cannot wait to bring what I learned through my coursework into the classroom. I am a very hardworking and outgoing individual who is passionate about teaching. My goal for the school year is to make each day a unique and engaging learning experience for my students. I am excited to finally be a teacher for many reasons, but the biggest reason is to make a difference in children’s lives.
About my personal life, I was born and raised in Kenosha. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, going to concerts and sporting events, and playing sports like volleyball. I am a big fan of Wisconsin sports, especially the Green Bay Packers, Wisconsin Badgers and Milwaukee Brewers.
