Hello Grewenow Family!

My name is Becky Velvikis, aka, “Mrs. V.” and I am so excited to begin another year teaching and learning with our Early Ed students! I am team teaching with Mrs. Dietman and together we are committed to providing our students with a nurturing, loving environment. Early education is such an amazing time. I believe that our children need a positive, environment that enables all students to feel safe, valued and happy within a classroom community that helps build independence, creativity and self-esteem. In addition, to having a lot of fun! Mrs. Dietman and I are so looking forward to partnering with our families to ensure the success of all of our students!

This is my 19th year in education. I started my career in Lake Geneva, WI teaching third grade and also kindergarten/first grade multiage classes. I joined the Grewenow Family in 2004 teaching first and second grades. This is my sixth year team-teaching with Mrs. Dietman in Early Education. I am so proud to be part of Team Grewenow!

I have two adult children, Rachel and Ronny, that I absolutely adore! My husband and I love to spend time on our boat with our two basset hound babies, Otis and Dolly. We enjoy cruising on the Mississippi River and Lake Michigan. I also enjoy campfires, being outdoors and reading.
